Window Tint & Reflectance Meter The Pocket Detective offers accuracy and reliability. This device provides measurements for both Visible Light Transmission (VLT) and Visible Light Reflectance (VLR). VLT refers to the percentage of light transmitted through glass and VLR refers to the amount of light reflected. These functions are important for today's law enforcement and inspection facilities to insure proper visibility for the safety of the driver and public safety officials. The Pocket Detective can also be used to measure optical properties of varying materials, such as opacity or clarity of glass and plastic substrates.
