RG20 4SW Tel: 01256 895895 * Fax: 01256 895894 Pairing a Bluetooth Headset to the Cisco 525 One Net IP Phone To follow this guide you must have a Bluetooth headset which has been charged and the instructions for putting this into pairing mode along with the device specific pairing code. Firstly on the Cisco desk phone following these menu steps to access and turn on the Bluetooth option: 1. 2. 3. 4. Press Menu Button (folded paper next to hold button) Scroll and select User Preferences Scroll and select Bluetooth Configuration With Bluetooth highlighted press the Right button on the 4 way control to turn Bluetooth on – a blue tick will appear. 5. Press the Set button at the bottom of the screen to complete. Once this is done the phone will flash up ‘Resetting Voice Component’ and show a Bluetooth Icon on the 3rd light down to the right of the display once completed. Now follow numbers 1, 2 and 3 (from above) to get back into the Bluetooth menu to start pairing your headset and follow these points: 1. Scroll down and highlight Bluetooth Mode – make sure this is set to ‘Both’ by using the left and right keys on the 4 way control. 2. Now scroll down and select Bluetooth profiles – press the Right button to enter this menu. 3. Now put your headset into Pairing mode, and press the Scan button at the bottom of the display – this will display a scanning icon. 4. When your headset appears in the list press the Select button and follow the onscreen prompts to enter your device specific pairing code to complete pairing. Once Pairing is complete you can now make and receive calls using the Bluetooth headset – when you start making the first call you will need to press the Headset button (between Mute and Speakerphone) to activate Headset mode – once this has been done this should stay active for the duration the headset is connected and will flash green when you are using the headset.
