Part A: Specification Item: 19-inch 36U Aluminium extruded modular rack Sr. No. 1. Item Description Quantity 19-inch Aluminium extruded Modular Rack: width 600mm, 02 Nos. Depth:800mm, Usable Height: 36 U Each rack consists of following parts: a) Depth Support Channels: Should be usable for fixing the 19” 6 Pairs equipment mounting angles at a variety of depth from the front and rear. b) Top Cover: Ventilated on all sides along the width and depth for 1 No. enhancing exhaust of hot air. c) Bottom Cover: Bottom cover should be provided comprising 2 cable 1 Set plates with cable entry points in 50 mm. round cut-out edge protected with rubber grommets. d) 19” equipment mounting angles: These angles should facilitate 2 Pairs mounting of 19” rack mountable equipment provided with square slots to accommodate M6 cage nuts at the universal pitch pattern as per DIN 41494. e) Side Panels: Side panels should be double folded at all ends with a 2 Sets stiffener welded all along the length. Side panel should be provided with ventilation slots at the lower 1/3 area to facilitate natural cooling within the rack. These panels should be fitted sing slam latches and cam locks. f) Front Door: Front door should comprise of a one piece picture frame 1 Set wherein 4 mm toughened tinted glass is fixed. The glass should be securely protected at all edges within this frame. Doors should be fitted on the frame with spring loaded hinge pine at the top and bottom. Door should be hinged right hand side. g) Rear Door: Double folded at all ends with a stiffener welded all along 1 Set the length. A vertical stiffener should also be provided all along the height. It should be provided with ventilation slots at the lower 1/3 area to facilitate natural cooling within the rack. h) Levelling Legs and Caster Wheels: These acts like jack lifting feet. 4 Sets Legs height should be adjustable with standard wrenches. Caster wheels should be provided to carry weight of 50 kg. per wheel. i) Fan Tray: Fan tray should be mounted on the top with 4 nos. of 6”, 1 Set 230 V 90 CFM fans. j) Heavy Duty Support Angles: Support angles should be mounted on 10 Pairs equipment mounting channels on 10 equal space. k) 1U/19” Blank Plates l) Power Distribution Channels: This channel should have 5A/230V, 10 2 Sets sockets and switches. It should have 2 nos. of 15A/230V sockets with power on MCB and indication. m) Earthing Strip: 3 X 20 mm tined copper strips having 5mm taped 2 Nos. holes on 10 equal space should be provided in the racks on isolated manner along the width at front and rear. n) Colour: All the parts should be powder coated except earthing strips. o) Standard Fasteners: Standard fasteners should be supplied with the racks. 7 Nos. Note: (1) The supplier must attach duly filled compliance sheet (mentioned in part-B) with the quotation otherwise quotation may be rejected. (2) Detailed technical literature must be supplied with the quotation otherwise quotation may be rejected. (3) Only original manufacturer or their authorized dealer should quote. In case of authorized dealer /representative, please attach a copy of authorization letter. (4) The successful bidder is required to submit detailed mechanical drawing of the cabinet before starting the manufacturing. (5) The supplier shall be responsible for proper packaging, transport and safe delivery to RRCAT. (6) Material acceptance will be subjected to conformance of indent parameters mentioned in the specification.
