1 . Disassembly of the door lining

D Disassembly of the door lining with or without Porsche soundpackage is identically.
1.1. Roll down window completely. 1.2. Lever off the mirror triangle panel ( A) starting from the bottom edge and pull it off upward. 1.3. Carefully push the faceplate of the door latch lever (B), out from the catch starting from the tapered side and pull away upward: open door latch and remove the multipoint head cap screw underneath. 1.4. Remove screw (C) on upper end of door handle. 1.5. Open lid of door tray and remove the plastic expansion screw (D) 1.6. Pull off faceplate ring (E) from the handle and remove the Toxy screw underneath. 1.7. Unclip the airbag faceplate (F). Remove the Phillips screws underneath. 1.8. Pull door handle forward and off:

1.9. Carefully squeeze the door panel away from the plastic clips at the lower and lateral edges (danger of breaking!). 1.10. Lift the door panel out of the sealing above and simultaneously move it horizontally and forward away from the inner door metal. 1.11. Unhook door lock Bowden pull wire and unplug power cable for the entrance light.

2 . Removal of the Tweeter-midrange module in the instrument panel / vehicles with Porsche sound package: bass tank in the doors
Instrument panel: 2.1. Removal of the original installed tweeter-midrange-module: Dismount both original tweeter-midrange-modules from the instrument panel and unplug the cables. (The standard tweeter module, the screws and connector will not be needed anymore.)

Only for vehicles with installed Porsche sound package:
Car doors: 2.2. Removal of bass tank: 2.2.1. Disconnect all original loudspeaker plugs (A). (They will not be needed anymore.)
2.2.2. Loosen the four screws (B) that hold the bass tank and remove ist. (It will not be needed anymore.)

4 . Cut-outs in door lining 4.1. Place door lining on a plane surface. 4.2. Dismount the loudspeakers attached to the panel for transport protection. Retain the screws for later assembly. 4.3. Place the panel without loudspeaker and grill on the door lining and align it:
This is the location of the upper panel edge above seperating edge between leather and carpet. The carpet edge is not a reference point !!

4.4. Mark the cut-outs for the loudspeakers on the door lining. If the Porsche soundpackage is installed, the loudspeaker grill is also cut out. 4.5. Remove panel and carefully cut the door lining along the marks in a slightly larger radius. (see � !). The mounting clips of the door lining (A+B) must not be removed at that!

IMPORTANT !!! You best obtain precise cutting edges (see fig.2) by holding the panel and door lining to the car door. The original mounting point 1 + 2 (see fig. 3) in the car door must be visible in the cut-out. fig. car doors without doorlining

5. Insulation of the car lining / Installation of the car lining onto the doors
� Important tip: Vibrations from 2 x 160mm subwoofer / each side can lead to annoying rattle noises in the car door.
5.1. Insulation of the car lining/backside: 5.1.1.self-adhesive vibration suppressing insulation fleece (order.no. 27000) onto the backside of the car lining

6. Panel alignment/reference points Place the door panel on the mounted door lining onto the car door.

Only precise alignment of the pannel with the door lining warrants optimal fit
6.1. Reference point 1: the two most important reference points are the original fastening points in the car door (see fig. 1+2) • Check the proper fit of the original sheet metal screws for fastening the doorlining and panel (1 + 2 as shown in fig.). If necessary clip in supplied new sheet metal nuts • Affix the panel with the two Spax screws (1+2) through the door lining exactly into the original fastening points and screw only hand tight.

6.2. Reference point 2+3: realign panel again precisely as shown on page 6 Upper panel edge partly overlaps the separating line between leather and carpet. The carpet edge ist not a reference point.

7. Panel installation - Fastening
7.1. Use the precisely aligned panel as pattern for the position of the fastening points 3-7. Fasten all screws only hand tight: Screw 1 + 2: screw into original fastening point (see page 8) Screw 3 : screw carefully into door lining: Caution! Window lifter motor underneath. Screw 4 : screw through door lining into door metal. Screw 5 -7 : screw into door lining. 7.2. Check again for proper fit and tighten all screws securely.

All cutting edges of the panel must fit the door lining snugly all around without gap.
7.3. Secure the Spax screws with sheet metal nuts. Fasten metric bolts with washers and nuts.

8. Crossover circuit - Speaker connection 8.1. Place crossover circuit behind the middle console. 8.2. To boost the sound volume create a cut-out in the original door foam foil of approx. 20 cm width in length of the pocket and 2 cm in height. If a moisture foil was installed as described on page 5 a 20cm long cut in the foil is sufficient.

9. Installation of the speaker’s - grill: 9.1. Precisely align and carefully press grill into the Velcro fasteners.

The Velcro fastener makes a crackling sound when it is closed correctly.
9.2. Our Tip: If the panel cannot be pressed on completely at some points. . . Cause:
the special form at these points and the resulting differences in material cross section of the grill.
Solution:
the distance can be levelled out with spacers 3 under the Velcro disc. (Spacers included with the screw kit) grill 2 self-adhesive Velcro-strip

9.3. Removing the grills:
The Velcro fasteners stick together very strongly! The grills can be removed anytime by carefully lifting them off. Please, avoid any way of forceful yanking at the grills. It could break!

Guarantee
We grant a manufacturers guarantee of 2 years starting from the date of purchase of the door panels or sound system from the dealer. Within this guarantee period to our choice we either repair or replace free of charge all defects due to material or workmanship. Exempt from this guarantee are damages due to improper use, wear and tear or damages which have to be led back on wear or interventions by third parties. The guarantee does not cover subsequent damages or such defects that only insignificantly impair the value or the usability of the panels/sound system. The guarantee does not cover damages due to external influences. Panels with additional or wrong assembly drill holes cannot be returned. These are damages to the panel which cannot be repaired again.
