Warning - Improper installation can result in serious personal injury or death. Ensure that the mounting surface can support a weight factor of four times the combined total weight of the equipment and the mount. If not, reinforcement of the mounting surface will be necessary before installing the mount. Warning - It is the installer's responsibility to make sure that the mounting surface and the subsurface is free and clear of all electrical wires, plumbing and gas pipes. Failure to provide adequate clearance of all electrical wires and pipes can result in serious personal injury or death. Warning - Mount and equipment exceeding a combined weight of 50 lbs can result in damage to the support structure, the mount, the equipment and may cause personal injury. Measure distance between Inner Rails (A) from mounting screw to mounting screw, align Outer Rails (B) to corresponding location on Rail Plate (C), insert Carriage Bolts through aligned holes from back and fasten Nuts with a 7/16" wrench. Wall Stud D E 2 Attaching Rails... Continued 3 Attaching TV to Mount B D Pilot Holes 1 F 1. Remove Cover Plate (E) and locate center of wall studs. (NOTE: If studs are not 16" on centers, backing or internal wall plate may be needed). 2. Place level on top of Mount (D) and determine location of holes. Mark hole location with a pencil. 3. Drill 1/4" pilot holes at each marked location on wall. Align Mount (D) to wall and insert lag bolts and SAE washers into pilot holes. 4. Loosely tighten lag bolts. Adjust Mount (D) so it is level, then securely tighten the lag bolts. Reattach Cover Plate (E) and Place Cylinder Lock (F) into housing and turn clockwise to secure. Do not over tighten. 2 Attaching Rails Distance Distance 3 2 A B A Side View 1. Hold TV firmly at each side and align the attached Inner Rails (A) with the Outer Rails (B). 2. Slide the top end of the Inner Rails (A) into the Outer Rails (B) then push bottom in and slowly slide down into place. 3. Place Cylinder Lock (F) into housing and turn clockwise to secure. Do not over tighten. 4 Adjusting Position on Tilt Arm (it is recommended that you remove the TV before making adjustments) Pivot Point C A Attaching to T.V. Attaching to Rail Plate 2. Support TV with one hand while the other slowly loosens screw until mount is able to adjust. (**Do not loosen screw too quickly or mount will fall forward and may cause damage to TV.) B 1. Turn TV upside down and place it flat on a soft cloth or packaging material. Be sure that area is a level and sturdy surface. 2. Align Inner Rails (A) (lock at bottom) with VESA hole pattern (if applicable) on back of TV, place Fender Washers over each mounting insert and attach the correct length screw with Phillips head screw driver. (DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN as this can cause serious damage to the TV) 1. Insert the provided 5/32" Allen Wrench into adjustment screw at base of mount. Adjusting Screw 3.
