WHY FIDA
Fida was the first Italian company to develop solutions for Passenger Information based on LCD technology. Our “carriage indicators” thanks to our design and reliability have become standard products for RFI, as variable message signs.
Fida is a dynamic company that has its roots in high quality metal carpentry. Today, it represents a manufacturer of solutions that integrate mechanics, engineering, electronics and information technology.
In 2005, in partnership with GrandiStazioni, Fida created one of the largest European networks of Digital Signage within the most important Italian railway stations, installing over 1500 screens. A complex and innovative project, which allowed Fida to acquireunsurmountable know-how in the Passenger Information field, along with high value technical capability for System Integration and the development of professional displays for information. The prestigious projects in the railways that Fida has created in Italy (RFI) and Spain (RENFE) have helped to develop professional skills which allows Fida to respond to any specific request of the market.
Fida is specialized in professional displays for passenger communications combining innovative technology with a refined and exclusive design strictly “Made in Italy.” Our technical department designed Three Products Lines entirely developed and manufactured in our factory in Brugherio (Milan) to meet all client needs, whether it be Semi-Outdoor or Full-Outdoor, monitors, totems, landscape or portrait with or without touch. DVP, thanks to its own propriety and customizable firmware can connect and manage diagnostic data coming from other electronic devices and digital sensors, regulate temperature, humidity sensor, h-vac functions, ventilation and external light sensors and many more custom functions. OCTOplus CONTROL PANEL Our technical department developed a simple Web Graphical User Interface called OCTOplus Control Panel where you can: customize diagnostics according to the environment, dividing the network into zones, areas or single devices, create Multiple User Accounts with specific permissions, in order to preserve System Security and immediately visualize the status of a single device thanks to our “Traffic Light Safety System”. Our goal is to allow any customer to monitor and manage the status of a network of devices or a specific apparatus, easily from a pc, tablet or smartphone, reducing the number of maintenance interventions and extending the product life cycle. Main advantages of the OCTOplus Control Panel: Intuitive: data in graphic format. Alerts: in case of device malfunction you will receive the information instantly via email or SMS (external service). Security: totally secure and protected. Responsive: pc, tablet and smartphone compatible. Universal: also connect other SNMP compatible devices. Everything is under control with Fida.

The Flux FBS uses the latest generation LED designed to provide easy viewing of messages for passengers in outdoor areas such as railways, subways or bus stations. The FBS monitor with IP55 protection and sunlight readability ensures proper functionality in any condition thanks to a sophisticated diagnostics systems which maintains the proper brightness, energy saving and minimizes physical maintenance. You can easily log on to a LAN central management system to receive real time informations and also control certain parameters, also change time and information regarding the passing trains and travel details. The Flux SMD LED monitors use 5 mm pitch matrices, characterized by their 4 times lower energy consumption compared to the DIP technology currently in use, it also guarantees a higher quality image and superior readability compared to existing media in the market. The Flux FTI is a semi-outdoor monitor for passenger information systems, suitable in contexts such as railway, bus and metro stations. The FTI variable message board is available in 10 or 20 lines, 60 or 80 cm high and summarizes the arrival and departure information using the SMD LED technology with high brightness and visibility, which are distinguished by the significant advantages in terms of reliability, low consumption and duration of product life and maintenance. The management of the network of devices is greatly facilitated by the sophisticated diagnostic system used, designed by our engineers. The system with standard SNMP protocol is able to monitor the operating parameters, from temperature, humidity, ventilation and external light. The arrivals / departures SMD LED strip is a semi-outdoor variable message panel especially used in subways, in retail and in the distribution routes for public transportation settings such as railways or airports. Thanks to the use of the latest components: the SMD LED that are characterized by assurances of reliability and durability, as well as a reduction of energy costs by 4 times compared with the normal LED technologies . These devices work at operating temperatures ranging from -20 ° to + 40 °, and have a degree of protection IP32. The sophisticated diagnostic system DVP designed by FIDA, allows you to monitor the operating parameters, from temperature sensors, humidity, ventilation and external brightness, as well as facilitating the maintenance of the entire network of devices and extend its service life up to 4 times. The FMS monitor was created to give passengers vital information such as arrival and departure times. The unit is configured to be anchored on the wall, or as another option fixture to a specific bracket in suspension. Various sizes and configurations are available depending on the amount of information you must provide, varying from 6-10-20 rows. Thanks to the new generation technology of SMD LED, passengers can immediately read information from different viewing angles. Each line can display characters with proportional writing and can have different effects such as horizontal scrolling, blinking, writing in reverse or others. The color contrast of amber on black also helps passengers quickly read and grasp the messages being displayed. The SMO semi-outdoor are professional ultra strong monitors that provide real-time public service informations in airports, bus stations or railway stations. The shell is made entirely of extruded aluminum, immune to electromagnetic interference and extremely resistant to corrosion, water and iron powders. The displays run from 24 “ to 65” and comes with anchor hanging by a special lattice, or in special cases on a pole. Both versions can be configured with single-sided or doble-sided display elements. The monitors SMO new designed by Fida use TFT LCD panels with LED backlight that can reduce energy consumption up to 40%, compared to TFT LCD panels of old design. Other advantages of LED backlight, in favor of the old CCFL technology, consist in not making use of harmful substances, improved image quality and increased product life cycle of up to 50,000 hours of use. The Signum SMS monitors can operate in harsh outdoor areas, such as railway stations, airports, metro or bus stations, with direct sunglight and an environmental temperature range from -30° to + 40 °C, without the need of air-conditioning thanks to our special vortex ventilation system, which respect the environment. The Signum line, thanks to the IP55 protection, can be be installed under direct sunlight, rain, snow, in the presence of salt, dust and pollution and is designed to function 24/7. The high-brightness 2500 nits LED backlight Full-HD LCD display panel is visible even under the brightest sunlight. The enclosure is made entirely of aluminum, immune to electromagnetic interference, and especially known for its excellent resistance to corrosion, while the front door is made of laminated tempered 4 + 4 mm shatterproof glass. The Totem SKO semi-outdoor LCD TFT consists of a self-supporting frame in brushed stainless steel, available in both single or double-sided version with hinged doors that open, containing the protective glass. From here you access the electronics and the TFT LCD panel, arranged vertically and available in sizes 55 “and 65”. The display does not have headers or predefined fields, so you have full flexibility in decided free text pages, ancillary information etc. All elements of the enclosure can be personalized and a suitable surface finish that allows the elimination of graffiti can be used. FIDA always uses the latest generation TFT LCD panels with backlit LED that help reduce power consumption. A sophisticated diagnostic system allows you to control various parameters and settings such as temperature, humidity, ventilation, and external brightness. The Motus MMO monitors are rugged industrial displays equipped with a special ventilation system capable of operating in outdoor areas even in the presence of iron powders. Particularly suitable for applications in transport, such as subways, railway stations and airports, but also in industrial facilities, harbors, shipyards and naval fleets, where information must be guaranteed even in the most adverse conditions, preferably without direct sunlight on display. The enclosure is made entirely of anti-corrosive aluminum, with all frontal glass finish which is vandal-resistant and anti-reflective. This makes it immune to electromagnetic interference and especially resistant to corrosion.It has a frontal compass opening and uses hydraulic shock absorber to facilitate the operations of ordinary maintenance. The Motus MKO are ideal for installations in airports, railway stations and subways, where there is the presence of direct sunlight on the display and an ambient temperature not exceeding 40 ° C. They are available in sizes 42 “and 55” in single sided version and screen orientation in landscape mode. The structure is made entirely of stainless steel with frontal laminated safety glass 3+3 mm. The SKO totems use TFT LCD panels with LED backlight and a brightness of 700 nits and 2500 nits, with a high degree of visibility, even in places with high artificial illumination. It can optionally be equipped with a touch screen up to 40 touches to make it an effective instrument for traveler information, for example to search for a particular place of interest, or as an information point or host system with virtual operator. MKO is designed to be able to be anchored to the floor or to be placed against a wall.
