Cx1000 IP Video Gateway
The Path 1 Cx1000 IP Video Gateway is designed to meet the stringent requirements of broadcasters and content owners for transporting real-time broadcast-quality digital video over IP networks. A single Cx1000 can either transmit or receive video, reducing the number of units required in many applications. Each Cx1000 is capable of handling both compressed ASI at up to 213 Mbps and uncompressed 270 Mbps SDI/SDTI video. A flexible Gigabit Ethernet or Fast Ethernet network interfaces provides high-speed video transmission, and the Cx1000 supports both Standard Definition and High Definition video streams.
severe impairments imposed by IP networks. The Cx1000 has been designed to effectively handle IP network jitter, packet losses, duplicate packets, and out-of-order packets that might otherwise compromise video quality and integrity. Complies With Operability

The Cx1000 complies with relevant compressed and uncompressed video standards such as Standard Definition DVB, High Definition ATSC, SDI (SMPTE 259M), and SDTI. It supports both constant and variable bit rate (single or multi program) MPEG-2 Transport Streams as well as a single 270 Mbps CCIR-601 serial digital video stream (SDI or SDTI). The Cx1000 complies with network interface standards such as Gigabit Ethernet and Fast Ethernet. Proven, Cost-Effective Solutions
Highest-Quality Video over IP Networks The quality video standard demanded by broadcasters is ensured by utilizing a state-of-the-art embedded platform running patent-pending algorithms that shield the video signals from the
The Path 1 Cx1000 enables broadcasters and programmers to leverage the cost effectiveness, ease of use, and media flexibility of widely available IP networks for their video transport needs and to significantly extend their reach in exchanging video content. By incorporating years of accumulated experience and know-how on video-over-IP technologies, the Cx1000 is the ideal choice for demanding real-time broadcast video applications…all in an easily manageable, compact 1 RU package.
