PC-S43 Simple and Safe Operation Two-hands are required to operate the PC-S43. An illuminated cut line conveniently identifies the cut position. A key activated power switch can be employed to limit user access.
The PC-S43 Electric Paper Cutter's features make it a standout in the desktop paper cutter market. Push-button operation makes the PC-S43 cutter far simpler and easier to operate than paper cutters that use manual clamping and lever action. The dual push-button controls require simultaneous two-hand operation to automatically clamp and cut the paper, keeping hands away from the cutting area. Plexiglas safety covers enclose the cutting zone to provide even further operator safety. An automatic paper clamp firmly applies equal pressure across the entire 17" width of the cutting surface, securing the stock for accurate cutting. Releasing either of the push button controls gives the operator precise control over stopping the entire cutting cycle; the cutting cycle immediately stops and the blade and paper clamp retract to their starting position. Setting the cutting position of the backgauge paper stop is very simple and accurate utilizing the side mounted adjustment wheel. The backguage has a built in self-retracting push bar to help the operator reposition and remove the trimmed paper more easily and safely. The hinged front safety cover is easily lifted and rests in an open position when placing paper on the cutting table. An additional key feature is an illuminated cut-line that clearly identifies where the cut will be made and provides the operator an additional point of reference before making the cut. The base of the PC-S43 contains a built-in drawer for user convenience, which can be utilized for discarding of trimmed paper or for storing accessories and supplies. The PC-S43 Electric Cutter. Innovative Blade Design The PC-S43’s innovative blade design skips the re-sharpening process of other paper cutters. When required, a new steel replacement blade is installed, maintaining a higher level of cutting efficiency. Cut cycles are indicated on a resetable digital counter that serves as a guideline for blade replacement.
