Convert your Windows® based Laptop or PC into a high quality bidirectional Audiocodec!
Phoenix PC is an application that converts your Windows based PC into a high quality bidirectional audiocodec. This application allows you to establish an audio connection from your PC to all the Phoenix family audiocodecs and to any codec that complies with the N/ACIP compatibility. Connection can be accomplished through IP, (ADSL/ Cable MODEM), or a mobile network with ro example 3G, Wi-Fi, Wimax, Inmarsat IP, etc. This application will allow your reporters to transmit their recorded contributions to the station or to intervene live. Your associates will be able to participate live in your shows with broadcast grade encoding quality from their own laptops or workstations as the only required technical equipment required.
The application can also be installed in your Radio Station in order to interconnect with Phoenix (or other N/ACIP compatible brands) rack-mounted or mobile audiocodecs.
• Incorporates audio input equalizer. • Bidirectional codec via RTP over UDP, direct SIP or Proxy SIP. • SIP Server. In order to simplify operations on IP networks AEQ provides a SIP Server service for its customers.
• Compatible with other AEQ audiocodecs and N/ACIP compatible brands.
• Wide range of encoding algorithms and bit-rates available: MP2, AAC, AAC-HE, AAC-HEV2, G711, G722, ULCC, from 44,1 to 384 kbps.
• Application is capable of recording at the same time as you are transmitting your audio over IP.
• Application is also able to reproduce pre-recorded audio while transmitting audio over IP.
