PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
WARRANTY
The standard configuration, PE-MINIFLEX-3”, consists of a PCI Express mini connector assembly, two 3” cables and a gold finger assembly. User can specify different cable lengths and CSR option. The CSR option consist of two 5 milliohm, 1/2W, 1% current sensing resisitors for current consumption measurement. If CSR option is not specified, 0 ohm resisitors will be used. The CSRs are positioned at the 1.5V and 3.3V_Auxilliary power rails. Another option –H is available for half size Mini card socket end and/or the gold finger end.
Adex Electronics warrants this product against defects in material and workmanship for a period of one year from the date of purchase. During the warranty period, Adex Electronics will repair or replace this product at no charge. This warranty does not apply if the product has been damaged by accident, abuse, misuse or misapplication, nor as a result of service or modification made by anyone other than Adex Electronics.

Half size Mini card, both ends
-HF
Half size Mini card on Gold finger end, Standard (Full) size on socket end.
-FH
Standard (Full) size Mini card on Gold finger end, Half size on socket end.
If not specifed, the default is Standard (Full) size both ends. For example, PE-MINIFLEX-6” means a 6” cable length. PE-MINIFLEX-6”-CSR means a 6” cable with CSRs.
W4, USB_D- signal selection Pin1= USB_D-; Pin2=USB_D- to connector; Pin3=not used. The jumper default is Pin1Pin2. For external input, remove the jumper and apply External USB_D- signal to pin 2. W5, USB_D+ signal selection Same definition as W4, but for USB_D+. W6, Pin 39 selection Pin1= 3.3V, after W3 selection Pin2= Pin39 to connector Pin3= Pin39 from cable Pin4= 3.3V, before W3 selection. The jumper default is Pin1-Pin2, Pin3-Pin4. W7, Pin 41 selection Same definition as W6, but for Pin 41. R1 and R3 are zero ohm jumpers for 1.5V and 3.3V_Aux power rails. If CSR option is ordered, 5 milliohm, 1%, 1/2W Current Sensing resistors will be used. R4 is a zero ohm jumper between Pin 20 signal from the cable to the connector. Remove the resistor if the signal needs to be isolated. R5 is an optional pull up for pin 20.
Signal names under ( ) are revised per Spec. Rev 1.2. W2 and R2 are not used due to new Spec. Rev 1.2.
Options
W1, W3 are 1.5V and 3.3V_Aux power selection to the connector socket. Pin1= power from cable; Pin2= power to socket (or External power input); Pin3= Gnd. Jumper default is Pin1-2. For external Power input, remove the jumper and apply external power to Pin 2 and 3.
