Rock Salt Liquid Snow Shovel is a liquid calcium ice/snow melter - an environmentally and pet friendly, odorless product that is nonhazardous.
Just spray it on to pre-treat your sidewalks, parking lots and roadways. Once applied, in advance of a snow storm, Liquid Snow Shovel will reduce the amount of hazardous snow and ice buildup. In addition, Liquid Snow Shovel will reduce the intensity of strenuous shoveling and removal of the remaining snow and ice. Think of this product in the same manner as you would floor finish. It provides a barrier between your sidewalks and the snow/ice that accumulate after a storm. You can also think of this product as Teflon coating on a frying pan. You still need to clean the pan after use, but the Teflon coating makes cleanup significantly easier. Discoloration - depending on many external factors, including the amount of product applied, you can expect uneven coverage and temporary discoloration of your sidewalks. This is perfectly normal and only temporary. This situation will recede when it rains/snows or with the passage of time - or anytime you pressure wash or otherwise clean your sidewalk.

Peladow remains effective down to -25 degrees Fahrenheit Peladow Calcium Chloride pellets provides a strong residual action. Even when diluted to a 20% concentration it's effective to -4o F. Peladow won't give up moisture it has taken into solution and turn into a powdery white residue.

Peladow calcium chloride poses the least threat to vegetation and concrete when used as directed. Because Peladow calcium chloride pellets bore down rather than sideways and retain more of their deicing punch once they get to the pavement.
