A taster: The bells of St Mary's were a gift from John Budston in 1401. According to legend, they were made by an Italian. However, on completion, the bells were stolen and the maker searched the world for them. While travelling, he heard the chimes of the bells and he knew they were his bells...he was so full of joy he died on the spot!

The story of the building of Saint Jon’s Cathedral is a love story. It is the story of a peoples’ love of God and their dreams and sacrafices to create something of great beauty to remind themselves and future generations of God’s love for all of us.
Mary Immaculate College has a full time chaplaincy service, which works in close co-operation with other student support services on the College Campus available to and welcomes students of all faiths & none. The chaplaincy service organises; pilgrimages & retreats, pedagogical, organisation of college events, networking & creating a web of care & support.
Storyteller: Fr Seamus Enright The Church of Mount St. Alphonsus (Redemptorists) is first and foremost a place of welcome & sanctuary, a great centre of Redemptorist and Catholic life. There are many beautiful objects of devotion throughout and walls filled with 150 years of prayers from those who have worshipped here over the last 150 years. If these walls could talk what stories they would tell!

The restoration of one of Limerick’s most beautiful places of worship has been taking place. The church has been kept according to its vocation: to first and foremost remain a sacred building and to be a true house of prayer where people may also come to pray and receive spiritual food for their souls.
