The best modulation is selectable according to type of operation among single carrier QAM, QAM-OFDM and analog (FM) modes. Up to 3 modes of modulation, single carrier QAM, QAM-OFDM, and Analog (FM) are available. Compact Digital Microwave Transmitter 2 transmitter types are availabe. The PP-57 is the OFDM modulation model. OFDM modulation maintains robust transmission even in multi-path conditions. The PP-57D is the single carrier QAM/ OFDM type. Available with either MPEG-2 Encoder or JPEG2000 Encoder. ・ MPEG-2 HD/SD Encoder   : HD-SDI (SMPTE292M) / SD-SDI (SMPTE259M) ・ JPEG2000 Encoder   : HD-SDI (SMPTE292M) Input signal available with HD-SDI / DVB-ASI (TS). PP-57 HDK-79EX Ⅲ +PP-57 The transmission distance is calculated on the following conditions. (at 16QAM-OFDM, 1/2, approx. 24Mbps, 7GHz Band without any obstacles). Using a φ0.6m parabolic antenna, the transmission distance shall be twice PP-57/57D more than when using φ0.3m parabolic antenna. Battery BER, MARGIN, and MER levels can be displayed with LED/Meter on both the RX RF and Control units. Thus, the operator can realize whether the necessary C/N ratio is sufficient or not on the RX units.
