EDGE Technology
The EDGE FM modulator ESM 110 of BLANKOM Digital allows the feeding of up to 12 FM - programs in a CATV network. The device is designed in a compact manner in a 19” enclosure with 1-RU. ESM 110 which enables the cable network operator to undertake a comfortable, space-saving and costeffective processing of the FM programs in cable head areas. The programs are either fed directly as
MPEG transport stream or via an IP network as a unicast or multicast data package.
Ethernet interface with SNMP agent can be used for the integration in a network management system.
After the transcoding the 12 radio programs are available in the desired frequency range as RF signals. The operation and configuration can be done in a simple way via the Web browser of a laptop or PC. An
