Appendix No. 4 Technical specifications Technical Specification 2DES a) 1x source of amplified femtosecond pulses with a regenerative amplifier: 1. Repetition rate adjustable between 100 Hz - 10 kHz, or better 2. Pulse energy stability better than 0.5% rms over 8 hours, beam pointing stability better than 25 µrad per one degree Celsius, and better than 25 µrad over 8 hours at a constant temperature. The method of stability determination should be described in the offer. 3. Output parameters (wavelength, pulse energy, pulse length) should meet the pump requirements for one or both NOPA amplifiers listed under b), and must ensure reaching the output parameters specified there. b) 2x non-collinear optical parametric amplifier, NOPA. Either one or both amplifiers will be pumped by the laser listed under a), depending on the type of the experiment. The combination of the pump laser a) and amplifiers should provide pulses with the following characteristics: 1. Pulses short 10-30 fs, at least in a part of the spectral range of the amplifier 2. Maximum pulse energy of at least 100 nJ 3. Spectral coverage of at least 75% of the spectral range between 300-1000 nm. It is required that the spectral range between 700-900 nm will be covered. Both amplifiers do not need to be same, and the required spectral coverage may be achieved by a combination of the parameters of both amplifiers, including their accessories generating a second harmonic frequency of the amplifier output. These accessories should be included in the offer. To ensure maximum compatibility, the devices listed under a) and b) should be from the same producer. c) 1x continuous wave diode-pumped solid-state laser 1. Wavelength 532 nm 2.
