Pilot RCU 2.0 Pilot RCU 2.0 is an advanced multi-technology mobile network remote test and measurement equipment. It comes with comprehensive test capabilities, high degree of stability and fully integrated, which allow the equipment to be used under adverse circumstances and environments. Pilot RCU 2.0's well-designed architecture with the latest test modules’ option eliminate the need for physical USB connections commonly found with the traditional drive test tool. It is a remote measurement probe centrally managed and controlled by the Pilot Fleet Unify system, which provides a lot of flexibility and convenience for any network monitoring projects. The Pilot Fleet Unify system allow users to manage test plans, monitor and control device testing easily in real time at the office or anywhere with internet access. Furthermore, multi-network testing, real-time data upload and automatic reporting handled by the Pilot Fleet Unify server significantly reduce the operational cost for network operators. Real-Time Monitoring of Test Status Users may monitor real-time measurement parameters, test routes, abnormal device, test events, and test status on Pilot Fleet Unify. • Remote management, providing quick and easy testing Users may also connect Pilot RCU to Pilot Watcher via • Highly stable device allowing long-term, and uninterrupted the WiFi hotspot created by Pilot RCU, monitor real-time testing Product Features Remote Management Based on Pilot Fleet Unify's remote management capability, Pilot RCU 2.0 supports remote and centralized test plan configuration and execution, real-time device monitoring, statistics reports, exception location, and device firmware upgrade. Users may use their phones to send SMS information such as parameters, events, and messages, and view test status and test plan information. Durable Operation with Built-in and External Batteries Pilot RCU 2.0 can work continuously for at least 120 minutes with a built-in battery or at least 8 hours with an external battery. Multiple Network Technologies and Services Supported messages to control the devices remotely. Pilot RCU 2.0 supports 2/3/4G network technologies and Automatic Testing System value-added service tests. Its professional modular multiple service tests, including voice, data, and Multi levels of intelligent protection mechanism including design and flexible module configuration allows user's hardware and software allows the device to smoothly customization requirements to be met. operate for long periods of time. The device may automatically resume normal operation after encountered any errors, which reduces workload. Highly Integrated Design Pilot RCU 2.0 supports a maximum of eight MOS tests on eight-channel LTE service testsimultaneously, multiple FTP service benchmarking tests for different operators, and external scanners. The device can be connected via USB Real Time Data Upload to the Fleet Unify Server Pilot RCU 2.0 supports real-time and complete data upload through a built-in wireless modem, WiFi, or Ethernet. Moreover, Pilot RCU 2.0 will resume data transmission from last known failure point, therefore helps to save network resource utilization. LTE Carrier Aggregation (CA) Test Pilot RCU 2.0 supports 2CC (2 component carriers) LTE CA test in this version. VoLTE Test (POLQA) Normal VoLTE test and VoLTE test (POLQA) is supported within a quad-core Pilot RCU. PESQ/POLQA Configuration for Separate Modules Users may configure different MOS algorithm (PESQ or POLQA) for different modules within the same Pilot RCU. For example, users may configure PESQ for Module 2 and 3, and configure POLQA for Module 4 and 5. High Speed Train and Subway Train Test Users may import high speed train and subway train route files (format: *.kml) to the Pilot RCU through RCU Client. Pilot RCU may conduct automatic pinpointing with GPS positioning during the test. This function is used to complete the discontinuous measurement plot caused by GPS signal lost or discontinuous positioning.
