Check-In after 4pm, Checkout by 11am When you arrive, follow the signs to your cabin, which will be left unlocked with the key inside. Review the GUEST GUIDEBOOK on the coffee table before settling in, and feel free to contact us with any concerns during your stay. Items to bring: Drinking water (if you prefer bottled to softened well water), Beach towels for the hot tub, Foils, wraps, paper towels, spices, hair dryer, flashlights, matches, fishing poles, bug spray, DVD’s, favorite campfire chair, cooler for beverages, and a permit to hike Salt Petre Caves. Linens, Bath towels, pots and pans, dishes, etc., coffee, coffee filters and dish soap are provided. Firewood is available for purchase. ALL cottages are Non-Smoking. A $100 cleaning fee will be charged for smoking in any cottage. Cancellation Policy: All cancellations will be charged a $25 processing fee. There is a 25% cancellation fee if a reservation is cancelled within 30 days of arrival. Any cancellations within 7 days of arrival receive NO Deposit Refund. Unless you have indicated otherwise, your balance will be charged to your credit card one week prior to your arrival. For a Massage in your cottage we recommend BlueValley Massage, 740-653-2256. The Traveling Chef is available at 740-332-4501 . For Permits to hike the Salt Petre Cave Complex, you must contact the Ohio Department of Natural Resources. Please allow 14 days to process permit. Hocking Hills Guided Hikes – 740-777-2579 Directions to Cottages Please do not use mapping software or your GPS for the last 10 miles of your journey, as they may direct you to unpaved roads and uncleared roads during winter. All-wheel drive vehicles are highly recommended during snow events. From Cleveland: I-71S to Columbus. 270E to US33 east. US 33 east to Lancaster then take the 33 Bypass around Lancaster. Stay on 33E to SR 664 and turn right. Go 4 miles and turn right onto Big Pine Road. Go 5 miles to our entrance on the left, 25873 Big Pine Road. From Akron/Canton: I-77S to Cambridge, I-70W past Zanesville to US 13S. Go 7.9 miles to SR256, turn right, go 1.5 miles to SR664, turn left. Continue on SR664 through Logan. After passing over US 33, Go 4 miles and turn right onto Big Pine Road. Go 5 miles to our entrance on the left, 25873 Big Pine Road From Columbus: US 33E to Lancaster then take the 33 Bypass around Lancaster. Stay on 33E to SR 664 and turn right. Go 4 miles and turn right onto Big Pine Road. Go 5 miles to our entrance on the left, 25873 Big Pine Road From South Cincinnati: SR 32E, the Appalachian Highway, to Piketon. Turn left onto US 23N for about 25 miles to SR 159 North of Chillicothe. Drive three miles on SR 159N turn right onto SR 180E. Go 12 miles to Laurelville. From Laurelville take SR 56E. Go 3 miles and turn left at Big Pine Road (very curvy road). Follow Big Pine Road across SR 374 and Go 1.5 miles to our entrance on the right, 25873 Big Pine Road. From North Cincinnati: I-71N to SR 35E to SR 159N of Chillicothe. Drive three miles on SR 159N turn right onto SR 180E. Go 12 miles to Laurelville From Laurelville take SR 56E. Go 3 miles and turn left at Big Pine Road (very curvy road). Follow Big Pine Road across SR 374 and Go 1.5 miles to our entrance on the right, 25873 Big Pine Road.
