POE-PE03GE-24W PoE Series - 24Watt 10/100/1000M Gigabit ESD PoE Injector EAN Code : 4712757155044 CERIO’s POE-PE03GE-24W Gigabit with ESD Protection PoE Injector is suitable for use with products that support Power Over Ethernet and ESD ground cable. This IEEE802.3af POE compatible PoE Midspan device supports up to 24W POE 48V output power supply. Over load current protection for the board includes a built in lightning arrester (7KV ESD) design. Simply connect the power source to the Adapter, and then use a Gigabit Ethernet cable to connect the Adapter to the device. This conveniently provides both power and data to the powered device (PD). In Gigabit Ethernet, four pairs of Cat5 or Cat5E twisted pairs are used as the medium for transmission. The actual data transmission only takes up two pairs of wires (pairs 1-2 and 3-6). The PoE technology utilizes the remaining pairs (pairs 4-5 and 7-8) to transmit electricity.
