The guarantee is subject to proof of purchase being supplied. This guarantee does not affect any statutory rights the consumer may have in law. The guarantee covers manufacturing or material defects and does not cover parts subject to normal wear and tear. Finishes other than chrome are covered for a period of 3 years only and the guarantee on the finish is subject to the cleaning instructions being followed. The guarantee is not applicable where the product is fitted contrary to the conditions in the fitting instructions. Abusive behaviour and accidental damage to the product are not covered by this guarantee. The extent of this liability is limited to the cost of the replacement of the defective item and not to fitting or consequential damages. Dry, using a soft cloth. Never use abrasive cleaners or chemical household cleaners and avoid contact with concentrated bleach. Maintenance No regular maintenance is required for this product. Regulations It is important to ensure that the water supplies to your taps and mixers are connected in accordance with the water regulations (WRAS) requirements and good plumbing practice. It is Pegler’s recommendation and good plumbing practice that the supplies of hot and cold water to the mixer should be at equal (balanced) pressures in order to provide a consistent flow. Supplies should be from a common source, either mains or tank fed. If supplies are not equal pressures then non return valves should be fitted. Place fibre washer over inlet tails and position on underside of ware. Place clamping plate onto threaded stud ensuring that stud is positioned in the slot in the plate and the inlet tails are positioned in the cut out in the plate.Place fixing nut onto threaded stud and tighten firmly up the base of ware/worktop. iv) Fit Pop-up Waste ( Basin Monobloc only ) a) Remove plastic cover and pop-up plug. Unscrew flange portion and fit to ware ensuring the shaped sealing gasket is located under the flange. Offer up the lower waste portion to the underside of the ware ensuring the lower sealing gasket is trapped between the ware and the waste. b) Tighten firmly to ensure no leaks occur. Ensure the horizontal rod is pointing to the back of the ware. c) Place connecting clip onto the horizontal rod. d) Screw lower part of vertical pop-up rod onto upper part. e) Lift the vertical rod upwards and pass through the hole in the connecting clip. Position the vertical rod to its lowest position. Tighten the clamping screws of the connecting clip to both horizontal and vertical rods. f) Place the plug in the waste and lift the pop-up rod to ensure that the plug in the waste and lift the pop-up rod to ensure that the plug seats correctly. Adjustment to the plug position is made by the regulating screw in the bottom of the pop-up plug. v) Connect hot and cold supplies by using 15mm (Prestex) male x copper compression ( sold separately) Please note the cold supply is on the right and the hot supply is on the left when viewed from front. vi) Ensure pipework is thoroughly flushed to remove debris before connecting to the fitting. Fit handle Place snap fit connector (A) onto spline (B) and screw down firmly using screw provided (C). Place handle (D) over connector and push firmly until it snaps home. If the handles are not in the required position remove them with a sharp tug and replace to suit. Your Guide to the installation, care and maintenance of POLO Luxury Taps and Mixers Show flat sided spindle BATH SHOWER MIXER / BATH FILLER / SINK MIXER i) Remove backnuts from inlet tails and fit tails through tap holes of ware ensuring base rubber is trapped between ware/worktop and fitting. ii) Replace and tighten backnuts from beneath. iii) Thoroughly flush pipework and connect tap to the supplies ensuring hot is on the left and cold on the right when viewing the mixer from the front. iv) Fit shower hose to the bath/shower mixer.
