The five USB charging ports on the Portable Power Pack vary in power output. Refer to your device’s instruction manual and to the product overview in this booklet to determine what USB port and charging tip combination is appropriate for your device. To charge your device via the Portable Power Pack, follow these steps: 1. Determine the appropriate charging tip for your mobile device and insert the charging tip into the charging tip connector of the included USB charging cable. 2. Insert the charging tip into the charging port of your compatible device. 5 6 Device Operation 3. Insert the USB Standard-A plug on the other end of the charging cable into the appropriate USB port located on the Portable Power Pack. 4. To begin the charging process, press and hold the Power Switch on the Portable Power Pack until the battery power indicator lights turn on. You may charge mobile devices while the Portable Power Pack itself is being charged. If your device requires a different connector than what is included with the Portable Power Pack, you can use your device’s USB charging cable or any other appropriate charging cable, as long as it terminates in the USB Standard-A male connector required in order to plug into the Portable Power Pack. NOTE: While five separate mobile devices can be simultaneously attached to the Portable Power Pack, they may not total more than 2.5 amps, and their individual voltage requirement must be 5 volts. If an overload causes the device to stop operating, turn off the battery and wait five minutes before using it again. Battery Power Indicator Feature The battery power indicator lights display the amount of power remaining in the Portable Power Pack. When all the battery indicator lights are lit, the Portable Power Pack has a full charge and is ready for use. If only one battery indicator light is lit, battery power is low to minimal and we recommend recharging the Portable Power Pack at this point. When the battery indicator lights do not turn on, this means that your Portable Power Pack is out of power and you need to recharge it. To turn on the battery indicator lights, press and hold the power button. The battery indicator lights will remain lit until you press and hold the power button again to turn them off Safety Warnings Precautions 1.
