By simply plugging the DWL-G730AP into an available Ethernet connection, users can instantly create and allow single or multiple users to access an 802.11g wireless network.
Operate as an Access Point, Router, or Wireless Client
Using a simple 3-way configuration switch, the DWL-G730AP can be set in either of three modes: Access Point (AP), Router, or Wireless Client. Depending on the user’s location, in an office or hotel room, the DWL-G730AP offers many wireless networking connectivity solutions in a single device.
Includes Convenient Travel Case
Perfect for the traveling businessperson, the DWL-G730AP is small and lightweight and comes in a compact traveling kit. All other accessories including cables and a power adapter are also provided in the kit.
Supports Power over USB
For increased mobility and added convenience, the DWL-G730AP can be powered over USB1. At areas where power outlets are not readily available, such as hotspots, the DWL-G730AP can still provide wireless networking connectivity.
Enhanced Level of Data Protection
The Pocket Router/AP supports WPA-PSK to secure your wireless data communications. In AP mode, the Pocket Router/AP adds 802.1x support user authentication with an external RADIUS server for added security while working outside the workplace.
Backward Compatible to 802.11b
The DWL-G730AP is fully compatible with all IEEE 802.11g devices and is backward compatible to 802.11b. This means all 802.11b-compliant wireless devices can still communicate with your DWL-G730AP.
