It is designed for use in combination with the Syntace Microlock or the Syntace Superlock 38 seatpost clamp. Caution: When using the Syntace Post Shim 30.9 the min. insert depth of the seatpost is 90mm (When using the Post Shim Light 31.6, 140mm remains as Min. inset length). Compatability Before using the Post Shim, please check that the seat tube inner diameter is 35mm (+/0.1mm), and the seatpost you intend to use has a diameter of 30.9mm. Assembly with standard seatpost clamp • With a clean rag, clean the inside of the seat tube (Tip: Use a hammer handle to put the rag over and rotate inside the seat tube).
