POWERFUL MANAGEMENT OF YOUR AUXILIARIES Manage your plant with easy-to-navigate and intuitive data screens that simplify the management of your auxiliary system. With Conair’s ControlWorks 2.0 system you can change equipment setpoints, diagnose alarms and check machine status all from one centralized location. ControlWorks 2.0 automatically saves all data and can generate reports that indicate total resin usage.

SUPERIOR PLANT-WIDE EFFICIENCY; INCREASED PROFIT ControlWorks 2.0 improves the efficiency of your operation by allowing you the capability to monitor your entire plant from one central location. The system is capable of interfacing with blending, drying, conveying and ResinWorks systems. ControlWorks 2.0 is custom designed for your plant’s specific needs. The optional WebSpace package allows multiple individuals to log on, monitor, and control the entire system. With WebSpace, a connection to the primary ControlWorks 2.0 system can be made from anywhere on the plant floor. All that is needed is a web-capable device such as a PC or tablet that resides on the same network. With your company’s virtual private network (VPN), access to ControlWorks 2.0 can also be made from outside your plant.

View your entire system at a glance With Conair’s ControlWorks 2.0 system you can view all of your connected processing equipment. The system conveniently provides you with process analysis, remote machine diagnostics including alarm conditions, detailed reporting and data management.

Easily organize the plant floor Product modules can be arranged in a variety of ways representing the plant floor or production lines. The various device modules are grouped according to customer specifications at the time of the order. This grouping could represent specific areas of the plant floor, a production line, or simply a collection of similar devices. A total of 20 groups are possible with 8 zones in each group and 16 devices per zone.

Download or instantly recall blender recipes The ControlWorks 2.0 system maintains a list of stored recipes which can be instantly downloaded to the blenders and executed. ControlWorks’ central blender recipe management system eliminates the need to manually enter your blender recipe information. All material usage of the blenders is automatically stored and is used to generate material usage reports.

Simple remote access With the addition of WebSpace remote connectivity is possible from any and all web-enabled devices.
With the optional Alarm Email package, whenever an alarm occurs an email can be sent to pre-determined recipients.

Blending Module Interface with Conair’s TrueBlend SB-1 and Conair’s TrueBlend SB-2 blending systems. Allows for recipe management and operation of the blender. Material usage reporting is available.

CONTROLWORKS 2.0™ CENTRAL SYSTEM CONTROL DATA COLLECTION AND REPORTING With ControlWorks 2.0, you can view performance data, store blender recipes, retrieve information and diagnostics, including alarm and process data trending as they occur. You can also optionally email recipients notifications of alarms based on severity. Generate on-demand or scheduled reports in Microsoft® Excel, PDF, or Word format. ControlWorks 2.0 automatically logs all reportable data to a Microsoft SQL server database. Centralized plant alarms from each piece of equipment connected to your ControlWorks 2.0 system are displayed on a ticker at the bottom of the screen.
LOCAL OR REMOTE ACCESS ControlWorks 2.0 communicates with your system by Ethernet networking software. With the optional WebSpace package, a plant supervisor using a PC or tablet with web-browsing capabilities can access ControlWorks 2.0 from any location. Service technicians can also access your system through your VPN client to help diagnose problems.
QUICK FIND — NAVIGATE WHATEVER WAY YOU CHOOSE Conair’s Quick Find feature allows for navigation in many different ways. Navigate by shift, personnel, function, plant layout, or even a plant drawing. Quick Find allows the user to simply touch an area of interest to zero in on a piece of equipment. A great way for multiple users to find the equipment they use the most, Quick Find allows a variety of ways to navigate to specific controls or components. Aimlessly searching through screens trying to remember or decode which piece of equipment is which is a thing of the past. Welcome to Quick Find!
CONFIGURE TO SUIT YOUR PROCESS ControlWorks 2.0 is a custom-built application designed according to your specific requirements. It is designed to organize your Conair equipment according to your needs. The ControlWorks 2.0 server is a high end Windows 7®, 64-bit machine with a standard 27-inch display system. This server is a dedicated platform to provide all the necessary requirements needed for interfacing with each module of Conair equipment.
