The front panel LCD display provides real time status and parameter readings allowing simple operation and a full diagnosis for easy servicing. Using inverter control technology the PowerGem Pro 6kVA model and above can achieve N + X parallel redundancy operation allowing you to increase power capacity, reliability, safety and availability.

PowerGem Pro
The PowerGem Pro range achieves higher reliability and greater immunity from mains power problems to the connected load by using a Digital Signal Processor (DSP). Ideally suited for mission critical applications such as vital servers, network and telecommunications equipment.

PowerGem Pro
A precise LCD display provides real time status and parameter readings via the DSP controller. These include AC input and output voltage, frequency, battery voltage, load level, battery backup time, programmable output sockets status and modes of operation.
The PowerGem Pro series UPS DSP controller systematically analyses each component and displays the result using the LCD panel. This feature allows your service technicians the ability to pinpoint and repair the UPS very quickly.
Simple N + X parallel redundancy
The BPC philosophy is both simple and elegant. UPS outputs are connected directly to the users distribution system, eliminating the vulnerable centralised static switch and control circuits. PowerGem Pro 6kVA and above models can be used in simple parallel operation with up to 3 units. This allows scalability for increased power capacity and improved reliability due to the redundancy operation.
Multiple communication options This feature will allow either the USB or RS-232 communication port to work with an SNMP interface simultaneously. Internal slots are provided for remote control and monitoring agents like SNMP and AS400 cards.
Long runtime applications Matching battery cabinets can be connected to extend the backup time for all standard UPS systems. Even longer runtime (L) versions are available where the internal battery has been replaced with super efficient larger built-in chargers giving 4x and 8x times faster recharge capability.
Intelligent power distribution With programmable power output sockets you are able to manage your power distribution more efficiently and independently control load segments. During a power failure this feature will enable you to extend battery autonomy backup time to mission critical devices by shutting down non-critical loads in a controlled manner. Matching external battery cabinets
PowerGem Pro
For mission critical applications requiring longer runtimes or higher specification batteries, additional matching battery cabinets can easily be added. These have been designed both technically and aesthetically to complement the UPS, forming a combined unit which can be easily located without the need for special site considerations. For even larger battery systems or specialist battery installations, lower cost open or cladded racks can also be provided.
Environmentally friendly energy saving feature High input Power Factor and low current THDi PowerGem Pro UPS series provides a clean environmental connection to the mains supply meeting today’s industrial standard for energy saving and pollution free power. PowerGem Pro can achieve up to 0.99 input power factor as well as <6% input current THD.
Smart charger design to optimize battery performance PowerGem Pro UPS are equipped with multi-stage charger designs to optimize battery discharge autonomy. Also, the charger management system will adjust the charging voltage according to environmental conditions thus providing temperature compensation and extending the useful service life of the batteries .
The intelligent microprocessor based control system, allows for the very low power consumption offered by the interactive economy-mode of operation which provides efficiencies as high as 97%. PowerGem Pro switches instantaneously to double conversion online operation when the mains becomes unstable and fluctuates outside the normal frequency and voltage parameters.
Programmable frequency convertor
The PowerGem Pro series may be used as a frequency converter. Simple programming through the front LCD panel will allow you to lock output frequency at 50Hz or 60Hz to suit frequency sensitive equipment.
ViewPower intelligent power management When there is a power interruption,ViewPower broadcasts a warning message to all workstation users on the network urging them to finish their current tasks.ViewPower automatically saves files and gracefully shuts down the operating system after a user-configured time period or when the UPS batteries are low on energy.ViewPower also provides:-
