Powerline Gigabit Ethernet Adapter Billion’s new breed of Powerline Gigabit Ethernet adapter, the BiPAC 2098, presents an ultra-speed G.hn networking solution for the connected home. It is ideal for SOHO, small office, and residential users to extend the network range through existing electrical wiring. With plug-and-play feature, users benefit directly from this multi-functional wall plug without extra configuration process. Its Multiple Input, Multiple Output (MIMO) techniques enable the data transmission system to deliver up to 1 Gbps PHY rate and better coverage for in-house streaming multimedia applications and services, further creating a comprehensive smart home environment.
MIMO Communication to Boost PLC Throughout The BiPAC 2098 supports ITU-T G.hn-MIMO (G.9963) standard, offering unprecedented increases in data throughput and signaling distance through Power Line Communication (PLC) technologies without additional bandwidth or increased transmit power. With neutral-ground pairs for reaching highest data transmission rates as well as preventing noise interference from other home appliances, the Powerline Gigabit Ethernet adapter is able to provide reliable and energy-efficient transmission to ensure the data running on the optimum path and extended connection coverage.

It delivers high-speed performance of up to 1Gbps PHY rate and extends connecting coverage over standard home wiring that makes it an ideal solution for multimedia streaming applications such as High Definition IPTV, VoIP, online gaming, multi-room digital video recorder (DVR) and other triple play services.
Extra noise-free power socket The BiPAC 2098 is equipped with a built-in AC pass-through power socket for noise filtering, which protects the Powerline Gigabit Ethernet adapter from electrical interference caused from other home appliances and further improves in-home communication quality. This add-on feature also offers users an additional power extension for other electrical devices when there’s only limited wall outlet nearby. The feature greatly enhances power usage in residential applications while ensuring the data signal is smoothly transmitted.
