Operation is subject to the following two conditions: (1) This device may not cause harmful interference and (2) this device must accept any interference that may be received, including interference that may cause undesired operation. Step 4: Lock the antenna shaft into the clip so that it will not rotate or fall over. Step 5: Plug the AC power cord into an AC outlet and turn the power switch on. The last letter in the part number indicates the frequency. For example, a PPA R750E is set to Channel E, 72.9 MHz. Stickers on the bottom of the PPA Transmitter and R750 Receiver indicate the frequency they are tuned to. The R750 frequency must match your transmitter frequency. If you experience interference on the channel you ordered or if your receiver frequency does not match your transmitter frequency, use the following directions to retune your R750. TO CHANGE THE OPERATING FREQUENCY Step 1: Make sure your transmitter has been correctly tuned to the channel of your choice. Refer to the instructions that came with your transmitter for this procedure. Step 2: Turn on the transmitter and begin broadcasting a signal. Step 3: Insert a PLT 005 Tuning Wand (or similar plastic tuning wand) into the tuning coil access on the side of the R750. (See Figure 2.) Step 4: It is very important that you gently turn the tool COUNTER-CLOCKWISE until you hear the signal, or until the tuning coil stops. This screws in the tuning coil as far as it will go. Do not attempt to force it further. Step 5: If the tuning coil hits the stop and you have not yet heard the signal, gently turn the tuning slug CLOCKWISE until you hear the signal. WARRANTY The R750 is warranted against defects in manufacture for a period of five years. See the enclosed warranty card for details.
