782 10876 Preliminary Fullband Double Dual Duplex Tower Mount Amplifier 782 10876 Dual Tower Mount Amplifier: • • • • • • • Double unit for easy use with XPol antennas Supports CWA, AISG 1.1 and AISG 2.0 (default) AISG setting switchable CWA and AISG configurations Suitable for antenna RET control according to AISG/3GPP standard Bypass mode to ensure cell operation in case of DC power down Built-in lightning protection Ant 0 Ant 1 Tx Characteristics: Frequency range Insertion loss Input power (per input) Intermodulation products in Rx band Return loss 1930–1990 MHz <0.3 dB (typical) < 100 W (+50 dBm) < -116 dBm (2 Tx carriers at +43 dBm) >18 dB Node B0 RET Node B1 Rx Characteristics: Frequency range 1850–1910 MHz Loss in bypass mode 2.0 dB (typical) DC OFF Return loss > 18 dB (DC ON) > 15 dB (DC OFF) Gain Noise figure Output 1-dB compression point 3rd order intercept point (OIP3) 12 dB (nominal) 1.4 dB (typical) >10 dBm 25 dBm (typical) Environmental Characteristics: Operating temperature range IP rating MTBF EMC -40 – +65°C IP 67 >1,200,000 hours (per TMA) FCC Part 15 DC and Alarm Characteristics: CWA-Mode DC supply Operating current per TMA Alarm management *See note 9–19 V 80–130 mA 170–180 mA AISG-Mode 9–30 V 50 mA 12 V (nominal) AISG Mechanical Characteristics: Material Connectors RF Aluminum housing 7/16 DIN female, long neck AISG connector Mounting Weight approx. Dimensions (without connectors or mounting brackets) Shipping dimensions 8 pin female, IEC 60130-9 (Pin 6: 9 – 30 V DC, pin 3: RS485B, pin 5: RS485A, pin 7: DC return; other pins: Not connected) Wall mounting with 4 screws (8mm max.) Mast mounting with optional clamp set. 10.1 lb (4.6 kg) 10.8 x 6.6 x 2.4 inches (275 x 168 x 61 mm) 15.6 x 11.4 x 7.1 inches (395 x 290 x 180 mm) Node B0 Node B1 Mounting Instructions: The coupling torque at 7-16 connectors is 25 – 30 Nm! The tightning torque for fixing the AISG connector must be 0.5 – 1.0 Nm (‘handtightened’). It is recommended to install the DTMA’s with the antenna connectors pointing upwards and the BTS connectors pointing downwards. In case of DTMA’s with RET-connectors (Remote Electrical Tilt-connectors according to AISG Standard) it is recommended to mount the DTMA’s in such a way that the RET-connector always points downwards! A downward slanted mounting position between the vertical and horizontal plane is also allowed. AISG Setting: The protocol of the software interface can be switched between AISG 2.0 / 3GPP and AISG 1.1 and vice versa with a vendor specific command (depending on default setting). If the primary station does not support the default setting, it has to be switched over before system start-up. Please contact Kathrein for further information.
