Dimensions
The OPP-PIR-1 is a presence detector specifically designed for HVAC applications in a visually appealing, white housing. The lens has a detection angle of 110° to reliably detect motion. The switch-on and switch-off lag is adjustable with jumpers. The OPP-PIR-1 allows the adjustment of max. and min. temperature thresholds. The relay is automatically energized if the room temperature exceeds the max. threshold or drops below the min. threshold. Remove the jumpers from the pins to activate the reset/temperature monitoring function. First switch off the power supply.

Installation instructions All work (such as installation, electrical connection, startup, operation, and maintenance) must only be performed by sufficiently qualified tradesmen. The respectively applicable local rules and regulations (e.g. national building codes, electrical/ VDE regulations, etc.) must be observed. Installers and operating entities are required to sufficiently familiarize themselves before startup. Read the product description before operating the equipment. Verify that the product can be used for the relevant application without restrictions. We are not liable for printing errors and changes after printing. Appropriate use implies compliance with operating and installation instructions. We are not liable for losses due to inappropriate use. Unauthorized or inappropriate manipulations or modifications of the device render the operating permit, the product warranty and warranty claims null and void.
Installation: 1. Open the cover with the retaining screw. Remove the circuit board from the main housing. 2. Punch out the appropriate mounting holes and install the main housing at the desired location using the included screw. 3. Position the circuit board and connect the cable with the appropriate terminals. 4. Remember to seal all unused cable punch outs and screw holes to avoid false alarms (due to insects, etc.) 5. Install the cover and perform a function check. 6. Note: Switch off the power supply before changing the lag values.
Do not install the device in locations with direct sun irradiation or directly above high heat sources. Ensure that no objects (plants, large pieces of furniture, etc.) that can block the detection grid are located in the monitored space. The PIR sensor is more responsive to transverse motion than to motion toward the sensor.
Function check: Set the ON and OFF jumpers to the „A“ position (shortest lag). Switch on the power supply and wait for approx. 45 sec. The LED blinks (long - short) during the warm-up phase. Walk through the detection zone. The LED lights up when the sensor detects motion.
