Presentations, PDFs and SMART Board Notebook Keynote Presentation on a SMART Board To project a presentation on the SMART Board. 1. Turn on Interactive Whiteboard 2. Open Keynote to project on board. Click Play. 3. Touch to advance to next slide, build or action. 4. Use pen to highlight important points. Remember to RETURN PEN TO TRAY before you touch screen again. 5. Using a website link: Click on link, Keynote will minimize. When done with the website, click the Keynote icon on the dock. Keynote will reopen in presentation mode. Export Keynote Slides as Images to SB Notebook 1. Open Keynote file 2. File > Export > Image (jpg) 3. Save images to desired location Import Keynote Images to SB Notebook 1. Open Notebook file 2. Import (or drag and drop) each image onto an individual blank page 3. This Keynote page is now a picture. Builds, actions, transitions, and link in the original Keynote will not transfer. Export Keynote Slides as PDFs 1. Open Keynote file 2. File > Export > PDF 3. Save file in desired location Importing PDFs to SB Notebook 1. Open SMART Board Notebook 2. Add a new blank page 3. Drag and drop one or more PDF file onto the blank page in the Page Sorted Tab. SMART Board will generate the necessary number of pages.
