Design. Audison introduces a new idea for this line: total aluminium. The completely renewed design makes the SRx the “youngest”, most dynamic amplifier of Audison. Power and Versatility. The SRx amplifiers prove to be the most versatile within their category, offering endless possibilities of settings and boasting the ability of driving whatever loudspeakers. More specifically, SRx 1D offers the “Amp Chain Mode” advanced feature, which, through the ability of the “cascade” configuration of connection of many amplifiers, extends to infinite the available power granting the possibility of using the controls of the first amplifier (the “master”) to drive the whole group. Functionality. New features add to those already present in the previous version. The variety of features combined with their simplicity of use offers amazing performances to both the professionals and the amateurs. The SRx line introduces the "user-friendly” concept into car audio. Thanks to the combination of these characteristics, the SRx is perfect for those who want to improve their factory system relying on the quality of Audison. Control Panel. Following the tradition of Audison, the controls of the new SRx are found along the top panel. A hinged cover plate ensures their protection and aids their adjustment even in difficult installation positions. The graphics represented on the control panel are ergonomically designed for the ultimate in user friendliness. 04 Advanced technology DYNAB Circuitry. For the final stage of the amplifier, the proprietary DYNAB (Dynamic AB) Class circuitry was employed, automatically managing bias current without the need for complex adjustments. DYNAB merges the simplicity of the B Class amplifier with the qualitative benefits of an AB Class amplifier. Essential in the SRx project is the use of the latest generation high speed TO247 transistors, for smooth, full sound performances. Total Aluminium. Internal amplifier components can reach temperatures of 90°C (194°F). This is why Audison chose to create the heatsink and related parts from solid aluminium; a material which has no peer in terms of heat dissipation and its light weight. 2-Level Virtual Heatsink. Electronics and mechanics merge into the new SRx to create full synergy, giving form to the 2-Level Virtual Heat sink; a system which allows the amplifier to perform longer, even as it reaches high temperatures, without affecting the signal. The SRx delivers maximum power in whatever working conditions, even under demanding thermal conditions, without deteriorating the sound quality. Convection Cooling System. The mechanical layout was designed to create convection cooling; aiding the induction of fresh air and the expulsion of hot air. In whatever conditions the amplifier is mounted in, this natural air circulation generates a "chimney" effect, creating an extremely efficient cooling system. 05 Advanced technology Unconventional connections. The terminal blocks of the SRx feature a rising clamp system, preventing the cable from damage. The new guided wire insert system accepts cables up to 4 AWG for the power supply and up to 8 AWG for the loudspeakers with easy, intuitive, safe and secure connection. "User-friendly" controls. Operating modes, sensitivity adjustments and crossover controls are entirely independent and by-passable, allowing the most possible varied configuration range to the advantage of their versatility of use. Also featured is the built-in remote volume control circuitry. PRE OUT with Speakers-IN signal inputs. Both the Pre and the Speakers-IN signal inputs adopt the LNS™ circuit to eliminate electrical disturbances found in the car environment.
