Videology's new monochrome CCD camera board with USB 2.0 output, model 20K13XUSB produces clear
images at a fast 30 frames per second. It utilizes a 768 x 494 pixel monochrome Sony Ex-View® CCD for Ultralow level imaging with amazing near IR sensitivity out to 1 micron. The 20K13XUSB is presently designed into a broad range of applications: Fluorescence detection Biometric Industrial control Outdoor traffic/toll monitoring Covert law enforcement equipment The 20K13XUSB utilizes a straight digital path from the video image capture board's D1, 8 bit digital output directly into the USB 2 processor. There is no analog redundancy which means less opportunity for image error or artifacting. This new monochrome camera as all of Videology's USB 2.0 cameras come with WDM device drivers, and are DirectX and TWAIN compliant. Click here for data sheet: 20K13XUSB. Control of many camera features over USB is possible using the free viewer software. A complete software development kit is available for OEMs to customize the camera to their preferences. This tiny 22 x 26 mm double board camera can come with a choice of metal lens mounts and lenses: pinhole, M12 board style, or CS lens mount. OEMs are choosing Videology as their USB 2.0 manufacturer for their company's industrial approach and focus on long product life - once a Videology board is designed-in, a manufacturer can rest easy and not fear camera design changes or short product life and the risk of costly and untimely redesign.
