CAMERA
ENCLOSURE
The impact-resistant camera consists of a charged-coupled device (CCD) camera board, lens (fixed-focal-length), enclosure and polycarbonate dome. The camera video interface is via 75ohm coaxial media. The camera enclosure is available for indoor and outdoor applications. The camera, lens and enclosure fully assembled and tested by the manufacturer. The video system supports NTSC, EIA, PAL or CCIR signal format.
The enclosure and polycarbonate dome can withstand a high impact force. The polycarbonate dome is available in clear and half tint versions. The clear version will include a dome insert. The half tint version has a maximum light loss no greater than 1.0 f-stop. The dome consists of 3.8" (96.5mm) diameter, 0.125" (3.2mm) thickness that has high optical clarity. The dome is UV- stabilized, suitable for use in areas exposed to sunlight and is hard coated for scratch resistance. The enclosure meets Nema 4X and IP66X and is designed for indoor and outdoor all weather use. The camera chassis is fabricated from polycarbonate material. The top enclosure is fabricated from cast aluminum alloy and is finished with urethane powder paint. It includes captive security lid screws. The enclosure is capable of mounting to a standard 4S deep electrical box. An adapter plate is also provided for additional support when mounting to ceiling tiles or drywall. The dimensions of the camera do not exceed 5.87” x 3.87” or 150mm x 98.3mm. The weight of the camera, including both the camera and the lens, is no more than 2.0lbs (0.91 kg).
THE CAMERA The camera is a 1/3" solid-state monochrome/color video camera using an interline transfer, CCD image sensor in one of NTSC / EIA or PAL / CCIR signal formats. The horizontal resolution is a minimum 410 TV lines for standard monochrome, 570 for high resolution monochrome, 350 for standard resolution color and 480 for high resolution color. The electronic iris lens has a speed of 1/60 (1/50) - 1/100,000 sec. The camera provides a composite video output at 1.0V peak-to-peak into 75ohms. The camera position has a unique 3D-position adjustment allowing for maximum lens rotation for any angle of view required.
ELECTRICAL The input voltage range is 17-32VAC and 11-16VDC with a single power supply board: one set of power connections with auto sensing for 24VAC or 12VDC is provided. Built-in surge suppression meets a 1.5kW transient specification. Input power consumption is less than 3.5W (Color) and 2.5W (B&W). V-Phase and Iris level controls are potentiometers accessible from the front of the camera. All cameras are provided with a phase adjustment via potentiometer for AC line lock operation. The line lock adjustable range of the vertical phase is +/150° for NTSC (EIA) or 135° for PAL (CCIR). The camera switches automatically to internal sync mode when 12VDC is applied.

WIRING The camera has a cable exit on the back of the enclosure. The cable length supplied is 8” (203mm) for power and 6” (152mm) for video.
