FWI 400 SB
A rugged, compact, internally powered Iridium Satellite GPS Tracking System The FWI 400 SB is used to track assets anywhere in the world in a simple and reliable way. If your tracking application is for assets where there is not a suitable power supply available or where obtaining power is difficult or costly, like containers, trailers, generators, equipment, etc. this is the system for you. Antennas and battery are fully integrated in the all-weather-proof housing, so no wiring is needed. Individual asset information from anywhere in the world.
Key Features / Benefits: • The FWI 400 SB doesn’t require installation of wiring, switches or antennas. The system has strong magnets that when applied on a ferrous surface, like a container or the roof of a generator, activates itself automatically for fast and easy deployment. • The system will report its GPS location (speed and direction if required) in predefined time intervals through the Iridium SBD Satellite Network and is presented on a web based application. • If the FWI 400 SB is removed from the steel surface it will send a tamper message and will switch itself off. • Reporting time intervals are controlled by an integrated motion sensor. This sensor distinguishes motion and non-motion (at rest). The at rest frequency is lowered in order to minimize the communication costs and to maximize the batteries life span. Reporting frequency and other settings can be done OTA (Over-The-Air). • The FWI 400 SB can send approximately 3650 messages from one battery providing up to 5.5 years of tracking.
