Effective immediately the LA GARD 3045 Hand-Held Programmer (HHP) is no longer available from Kaba Mas. Many of the components in the HHP, including the microcontroller, are no longer available. Knowing that this key component used in the HHP was entering end of life, the Kaba Mas replacement strategy included the development of the ComboGard Pro (39E) lock and programming software. The ComboGard Pro (39E) lock can be configured using either Windows™-based PC setup software or directly through the keypad. There are no functionality losses between the ComboGard (33E) and the ComboGard Pro (39E). The ComboGard Pro (39E) has more user combinations and additional features not available in the original ComboGard (33E) lock, including variable combination length and audit records. The ComboGard Pro (39E) is also available in the newly designed motor blocking 2396-S1 VdS certified lock* while the ComboGard (33E) is not.
