ISO 9001: 2008 7 PELLET HEATING SYSTEMS HOW THE PELLET HEATING SYSTEM WORKS HIGH An integrated suction turbine sucks the pellets into the reservoir. From there the pellets are transported to the drop-off belt via the feed screw and in this way fall onto the burner grille. An automatic hot air ignition inflames the pellets. The combustion regulation DCC® controls the combustion process with a lambda sensor and air mass sensors: the lambda sensor controls the timing of the feed screw as well as the oxygen supply. Due to this functional principle a wood gasification boiler achieves a very high efficiency and causes only minimal emissions. The combustion chamber is designed for high temperatures and thus provides for a HVZ25L / HVZ34L / HVZ45L long service life, simple cleaning and minimal emissions. The large loading chamber is fully lined with panels and thus protects the boiler wall. A wood gasification boiler works according to the principle of E FF reverse combustion in combination with the principle of down- ICI ENCY draught combustion. This means that the flame burns from the top to the bottom. Since a flame naturally burns upwards, the combustion air must be conveyed through the boiler by a fan. The use of an induced draught fan has the advantage that fewer flue gases escape when opening the loading chamber door.
