Zen Boiling Range Features and Benefits Energy Efficiency One of the most energy efficient boiling water taps available. Innovative aerogel insulation around the boiling water tank keeps energy losses to a minimum. The Zen tap with 3 litre boiling water tank has energy losses of 15 W (0.36 kWh/day) for the 98°C models and 17 W (0.42 kWh/day) for the 100°C models. Smart Technology Algorithms learn and predict boiling water usage. On when you need it, off when you don’t, increasing energy efficiency.

Instant true boiling 100°C or 98°C is available alongside filtered cold, chilled or even sparkling water. In home environments a Zen Spa replaces the need for a kettle and provides high quality cold (ambient) drinking water to suit modern lifestyle requirements.

In office environments a Zen Spa replaces the traditional need for a wall mounted boiling water unit and separate floor standing chiller. The Zen Spa can be installed over a sink or with the stylish, tempered glass design Zen Font. Electrical Connection Installation must comply with current IEE regulations. The product should be connected to the fixed wiring of the property via a double pole fused spur with a minimum break capacity of 13 amps. Cable pre-wired (1.5m), to the bottom left.
IP Rating IPX0 Recovery Rate Recovery rate 175 cups per hour for all models based on 167ml cup size. Installation Install over a draining board, or work top fitted with a drip tray. At least 110mm clearance must be left above and below the unit to allow later removal of the jacket for service.
Maintenance It is recommended the unit is descaled every 6 months. Approvals CE Standard Warranty 1 year on-site warranty as standard. 3 year on-site warranty available at additional cost.

Usage A water filter is often fitted with our boiling and chilled water products to provide high quality, great tasting drinking water. There are two general types of filter available.

Taste and odour carbon block filters help to improve the taste of drinking water by removing some of the chlorine present in UK mains water; these filters are ideal for cold/ chilled water feeds. Scale inhibiting filters are strongly recommended for use with boiling water products, particularly when installed in areas where scale is a known issue. This type of filter also offers chlorine reduction and helps to improve the taste. If the water flow rate becomes slow this is an indication that the filter cartridge needs replacing. Fitting a filter does not negate the need to service and descale your unit at regular intervals.
