It can be used both for voice communication and for data transfer. It fulfils all international standards. It can be used perfectly together with the "Gealog Radio Modem 1200" for all applications of radio data transfer. The transmit power is programmable and can be adjusted to the specific requirements from 1 W to 25 W. For radio communications free sight between transmitter and receiver is an indespensable factor. We recommend highly to perform a radio propagation test for the detail-planning of a radio data network. Transmission distances up to app. 50 km are no problem if no obstacles are inside the transmission path.
