New Bobcat 6-8 tonne Compact Excavators
Introduction We are pleased to announce the launch of the new Bobcat E62 and Bobcat E85, the next generation compact excavator replacing the current Bobcat E60 and Bobcat E80. Both reduced tail swing models are incorporated with the latest voice of customer requests, improved operator comfort and increased digging performance.

Engine Stage 3B (only E85) The new Bobcat E85 is equipped with a Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) and a Diesel Oxidation Catalyst (DOC) which are “exhaust after treatment”- devices for diesel engines, in order to apply to the European engine emission regulation.
Additional (counter-) weight The operation weight of the Bobcat E62 and Bobcat E85 has increased for improved stability for during operations and lifting performances. The weight of the Bobcat E62 and Bobcat E85 has increased respectively with 155kg and 210kg.

Multi-functional instrumentation panel The new 5.7 LCD colour panel offers the operator a clear overview of information and multiple functionalities, such as:
Operation screen: fuel level, coolant temperature, engine rpm, date, time and more Auxiliary screen: selectable auxiliary hydraulic flow settings for attachment operations Protection screen: password protection system, multiple operator logins Diagnostics screen: system status functionality, service intervals Multi-language
Increased hydraulic performance The hydraulic system has been upgraded resulting in higher pressures and flows, generating smoother and greater digging and lifting performances. Two-way auxiliary hydraulic The Bobcat E62 and Bobcat E85 are standard equipped with the primary and secondary auxiliary hydraulic lines both dual directional flow and proportional
Two-way auxiliary hydraulic A thumb control is integrated in the joysticks for better metering of the boom swing and the proportional auxiliary hydraulics.

Auto-shift floating blade feature The travel motors are standard equipped with the auto-shift feature to improve the maneuverability of the models especially during turning and leveling, since it automatically shifts down during heavy loads. Boom & arm load holding valves Since the majority of these models in this segment are used for lifting applications, both models are standard equipped with boom and arm load holding valves and an overload warning device in order to facilitate the regional certification for lifting applications
Floating blade feature Similar to the other Bobcat compact excavators in the range, the Bobcat E62 and Bobcat E85 are standard equipped with the floating blade feature for improved leveling capabilities. Additionally, the Bobcat E62 has increased the height of its dozer blade for even better dozer capabilities.
Refueling pump In order to efficiently refuel the machine, both Bobcat E62 and Bobcat E85 are standard equipped with an electrical refueling pump for the ease of the operator.
