INVISIO Bone Conduction Microphone
Instead of traditional sound wave technology, patented INVISIO Bone Conduction Technology uses a small and comfortable in-ear microphone that picks up vibrations from the user’s jawbone. The vibrations are converted into sound, delivering crystal clear communication under extreme conditions, even when whispering.

The ability to protect personnel's hearing is crucial. In the short term to prevent acute hearing loss and deafness due to explosions and gunfire, and in the long term to reduce problems with disorders such as high frequency hearing loss and tinnitus, which are common occupational hazard among personnel. There are two primary causes of hearing loss and tinnitus: very loud sudden noise (impulse noise) and exposure to loud continuous noise for an extended period.
At the same time, personnel must be able to communicate and retain situational awareness. INVISIO’s line of Advanced Hearing Protection Systems offers the user an industry leading level of hearing protection whilst maintaining natural hearing by means of state of the art digital signal processors audio components and patented technologies. If the ambient noise level exceeds a threshold that can cause hearing damage, the system automatically and instantaneously dampens the sound to a comfortable and safe level.
