Efficient building networking with dLAN® PLC DIN rail adapter devolo has developed the dLAN® 200 AVpro DINrail specially for the requirements of building automation and for smart home applications. This is a 200 Mbps dLAN® adapter which, due to its design, can be installed directly into the distribution box of the building installation on a top-hat rail. The HomePlug AV adapter operates centrally from there and can exchange data without any trouble over each phase of the existing mains supply. Combined with appropriate counterparts at the application point, efficient smart energy and smart home networks can be implemented easily and cost-effectively via the power line. Thanks to the enclosed installation in the distribution box, the DINrail adapter is protected from theft and vandalism, e.g. when used in multi-dwelling units or public buildings.
With the première of the world‘s first dLAN® Powerline product with top-hat rail mount, devolo underscores its leading role in the development of professional dLAN® solutions. The fixed installation of the dLAN® 200 AVpro DINrail in any type of distribution box makes it particularly easy to implement networking solutions via the household electrical wiring. The signal is optimally coupled to three phases of the mains supply, ensuring considerably greater performance in the powerline network. In addition to the building-wide provision of broadband Internet, devolo‘s new development is ideal for implementing multimedia networks (IPTV, HDTV), building automation, connecting network-compatible terminal devices and for use as a smart metering gateway for energy data transmission.

dLAN® solution
Sample applications dLAN® 200 AVpro DINrail allows you to expand an existing installation into an efficient smart metering solution easily and with only a small investment. They can be installed quickly and easily close to the meter without routing additional cables. Thanks to the enclosed installation in the distribution box, the DIN rail adapter is protected from theft and vandalism. The devices are extremely stable and the data transfer is secure – just plug it in and it runs.
