ORTLIEB BIKE-PACKER PLUS (PAIR) Classical rear pannier with lid and QL2 system With its classical lid closure the waterproof rear pannier Bike-Packer Plus allows fast and easy access to the bag’s interior. An internal double drawstring snow flap provides additional protection against dust, humidity and snow. A fixed inner pocket with main compartment and zippered mesh pocket helps organising items inside the bag. Waterproof permanently fixed outer pockets with lid closure add further storage space and offer quick access to small items. The ORTLIEB QL2.1 system allows fast and easy single-handed mounting and removal of the panniers, and is suitable for racks with a tube diameters up to 16 mm (hook inserts for diameters of 8, 10 and 12 mm are included). Once the panniers are hooked into the rack, the mounting components close automatically. For taking off the rack you simply lift the handle. A 20 mm hook is available as optional accessory. The hook rail on the lower rear side of the pannier that serves for additional fixation is made of a two-component synthetic combination with anti-scratch function. This reduces abrasions on the carrier and prevents damage to the rack tubing. Thanks to the QL2.1 mounting hook rotatable in 45° steps the system is compatible with almost any bike rack. Two large reflectors ensure safety in dusk and at night. The Bike-Packer Plus can be carried comfortably with an included shoulder strap. Optional accessories include: ORTLIEB harness system for converting the Bike-Packer Plus into a daypack which is comfortable to carry. Anti-theft device can be integrated into the upper mounting rail and helps securing the panniers to the bike. Additional removable outer pockets with roll closure can be mounted later and help storing further gear, thus rendering the Bike-Packer into a spacious touring pannier.
