Full High Definition quality The SRT MPT is a High Definition Media Player & Digital TV Receiver with Internet capabilities and supports video resolutions 1080p/i/720p/576p/i. This means it will work on the latest HD Panel TVs, even 3D TVs but it will also work on older TVs, as long as it has at least the red, yellow and white connections (Composite).
Built in Wi-Fi & Web Browser The SRT MPT comes with inbuilt Wi-Fi & LAN that allows you to easily access your home network and connect to the internet. With a Full Web Browser, this allows access to virtually everything on the internet without using your PC. * Internet connection is required and may incur data & usage charges.

Multimedia Playback The SRT MPT comes with 2 x USB Ports & Micro SD Card Reader, which makes it really handy for not only recording onto a Hard Disk Drive, but also playback for movies, music and photos off a USB Hard Disk Drive, Memory Stick or SD Card. You can also play movies, music and photos from your Smart Phone via Wi-Fi. It supports virtually any file format including; AVI, DivX, MKV, VOB, MOV, JEPG, MP3, WMA. High Definition Digital TV Tuner with Record Function Access all Digital TV stations available in your area. The SRT MPT is MPEG-4 Compatible which simply means that it will play all current broadcasts (MPEG-2) and 3D broadcasts (MPEG-4). This means that you can record and playback any 3D broadcasts on a 3D TV. Of course it will easily record standard MPEG-2 coverage. In the event that broadcasters show more MPEG-4 programming you will also be covered. ± Channel Reception is subject to local broadcast coverage and may require an upgrade of your existing aerial.
The SRT MPT comes with Record Function for Digital TV via USB Hard Disk Drive, up to 3TB (3000GB) this will record approximately 750 hours in HD or 1500 hours SD. (USB Hard Disk Drive not supplied), will accept Fat32 of NTFS file formats. Records in .TS format. You can record 1 program while watching another from the same network ie; Record 7 and watch 72. It also records & displays Closed Captions and has a Parental Lock feature. Additional Features include: • Pause and rewind Live TV • Time Shift (can be turned on or off), buffer can be set for 30mins, 1 or 2 hours • Ad skip, Fast Forward and Rewind. • Timer recordings; once, daily, weekly etc. • On Screen 7 day EPG, with one touch record • MEPS - Power Saving To access your own Media files, simply plug in your External USB Hard Drive*, to the USB port on your unit, Files can be accessed via the DVR or Menu buttons on the remote. There is also handy Rewind, Fast Forward, Play, Pause and Stop buttons as well. This model will support up to 3TB Hard Drive. To record your favorite TV Shows, plug in your External USB Hard Drive and set your recording up via the EPG. To Playback record programs simple access via the DVR button on remote, or through File Explorer.

Simply plug the power adapter into the Unit1 and the wall plug, connect aerial cable from wall plug to antenna loop in8, connect AV cable from unit to TV; either HDMI2 or Composite /RCA5. Turn it on, change your source input on TV to HDMI or AV and then sit back an enjoy. For optimal picture quality HDMI cable is recommended, but not supplied)
So easy to set up Once you have connected all your aerial, cables etc, a start up screen will appear for first use, guiding you to the settings area. You will be prompted to set up your network via LAN (if LAN cable is installed) or via Wi-Fi. If using Wi-Fi you will need your login and password for your Network, once the network is set up, the unit can finish settings for other features, like language, Date/Time etc. To access Playstore, YouTube, Google+ etc you will need a Gmail account. If you already have one from other Android devices, you can use the same one, no need for a new one. If you do not have a Gmail account you will be prompted to create one. Please note that many Android features, games, apps etc cannot be accessed from the Playstore without a Gmail account. Once you have created/entered your Gmail account details you can browse, download, shop etc. For the TV Function of this unit go into the TV area, for first use a start screen will have an error, No Channels, you will then be promoted to run a search for channels. Auto search is easiest for installing all channels available in your area. Once finished you can then access all TV channels. For the record function on the unit you must plug an External USB hard drive or memory stick (Not supplied) into the USB located on the rear of the unit. You can record directly from the EPG. You can record a program on 1 channel and watch another program from the same network ie: Record 7 and watch 72, however you cannot record from 1 network and watch another ie: record 7 and watch 10. Multimedia playback on this device via USB or Mirco SD Card is done through the Media Player already on the unit, or you can download additional media players for more file types ie: BS or MX Player. The built in media player plays most common File types including MPEG, Divx, AVI, MKV, Xvid.
