This filtration system has been tested and certified according to NSF/ANSI Standard 42 by NSF for the reduction of the substances listed below, as verified and substantiated by test data. The concentration of the indicated substances in the water entering the system was reduced to a concentration less than or equal to the permissible limit for water leaving the system, as specified in NSF/ANSI Standard 42. LIMITED WARRANTY Paragon Water Systems, Inc. warrants to the owner of this product, for a period of 90 days from the date of purchase, that it is free from defects in material and workmanship and agrees it will, at its’ option, either repair the defect or replace the defective product or part thereof at no charge to the purchaser for parts and labor. If within 90 days from the date or purchase the product proves to be defective for any reason, return it postpaid to Paragon Water Systems, Inc. at the address below, for repair or replacement at no charge. This warranty does not apply to any product the exterior of which has been damaged or defaced, which has been subjected to commercial usage, misuse, abnormal service or handling, or which has been altered or modified in design or construction.

Use of carbon filters to treat sulfur may intensify taste/odor problems. • Please comply with all state and local regulations regarding the installation of water treatment devices. • The contaminants or other substances reduced by the water filter device are not necessarily in your water.

Congratulations! You have just taken the first step to assure your family of maintenance free, quality water. This filter is a fashionable accessory to go with any kitchen décor. Some highlights of this model include:
AERATOR
• It is maintenance free! There are no filters to change or any adjustments needed during the life of this filter. • It is designed to filter out chlorine, bad taste and odor for up to 30,000 gallons under normal household use. • The unit contains premium grade granular activated carbon, KDF, a premium drinking water treatment media designed to keep the filter clean and long lasting and garnet, a filter media to provide additional particulate reduction. • After becoming accustomed to drinking clean water, you will be able to tell when the filter is nearing its’ renewal point by a noticeable drop in water pressure or by tasting or smelling chlorine or other elements normally contained in tap water. At that point, you should replace the unit.

OPERATING SPECIFICATIONS Rated service Flow – 0.5 gpm (1.9 lpm) Rated Capacity – 30,000 gallons Operating Pressure – 20 - 100 psi (1.4 – 6.9 bar) Operating Temperature – 40 - 100⁰ F (4 - 38⁰ C) PRECAUTIONS Do not attempt to filter hot water. If hot water is accidentally run through filter, immediately flush system with cold water for a minimum of 15 seconds. Installation of the filter must comply with existing state and local plumbing codes. Some filters are not intended for use where water is microbiologically unsafe or of unknown quality without adequate disinfection to the water being treated by the unit. Do not install in direct sunlight. Protect from freezing. OPERATION/MAINTENANCE DATA These units are intended for non-commercial use. They should be used only in ambient air temperature of between 40⁰F/4⁰C and 100⁰F/38⁰C. Placement of these units in direct sunlight or use of electrical heating equipment on these units must be avoided.

INSTALLATION STEPS 1. Remove aerator from faucet. 2. Replace with diverter valve. Tighten top collar with pliers to ensure good leak-free seal. NOTE: If the diverter valve does not fit your faucet, use the supplied adaptor and washer or obtain the proper adaptor at your local hardware store. If diverter valve leaks just below upper rotating collar, replace existing washer with supplied washer, or obtain a thicker washer from your local hardware store or contact Paragon Water for assistance. 3. Push double O-ring end of spout into hole in the top of the filter housing. Turn spout so it is over sink. 4. Turn on cold water at the faucet. 5. Turn bypass control on diverter valve. 6. Run water through unit for 30 minutes to purge entrapped air and carbon fines from the unit. 7. Toggle the bypass control to select filtered or nonfiltered water.
