What is in the box : 1. A protective cabinet for outdoor applications inclusive of a factory built-in humidifier 2. A humidifier factory set inside the protective cabinet 3. The draining hose(s) appropriate to the humidifier 4. 3/4" FF stainless steel braided water inlet hose (with gaskets) for connection to water mains 5. Please read, heed and follow the enclosed information for ensuring a correct installation of the equipment to the electrical, steam and water networks. Please call devatec if any technical support is needed Failure to adhere to the manufacturer’s recommendations for the installation will invalidate our warranty. INSTALLATION STEPS Step 1 - Placing and attachment to wall Step 2 - Connecting the drainning system (please refer to the technical manual of the appropriate humidifier) Step 3 - Connecting the water inlet (please refer to the technical manual of the appropriate humidifier) Step 4 - Connecting the electrical wires (please refer to the technical manual of the appropriate humidifier) Step 5 - Setting up (please refer to the technical manual of the appropriate humidifier) Step 4 Step 1 Take care not to sag the hose to prevent pokets of water (s.a. technical manual of the humidifier concerned) Step 2 Step 3 Most important : It is essential to ensure an anti-frozen tracing on the humidifier water feeding line up to the humidifier water inlet valve. Pictures for illustrative purposes 9 PROTECTIVE ENCLOSURE FOR OUTDOOR APPLICATIONS Installation - Step 1 PLACING THE CABINET Important information : The best performances of the humidifier being achieved when the steam discharge is made at short distance from the humidifier so place the cabinet at the shortest distance possible to the steam pipe(s). Consider free space around the cabinet to allow easy access for maintenance purposes (c.f. schemes underneath). (dimensions in mm) Caution : In case of high winds, take care to block the front doors opened or take them off if inside maintenance is required. Pictures for illustrative purposes 10 PROTECTIVE ENCLOSURE FOR OUTDOOR APPLICATIONS Installation - Step1 ATTACHMENT The protective cabinet must be strongly set on ground. For fastening your protective cabinet, use fastening material appropriate to the surface on which it must be set. The bolts should have a diameter of no less than 8mm.
