American Psychiatric Association PsychiatryOnline Institutional Agreement (License) Psychiatry Legacy Collection Addendum The following terms and conditions are hereby added to the American Psychiatric Association (APA) Online Institutional Agreement (License) (the Agreement), at Paragraph 6, “Archive Policy.” This Addendum shall take effect immediately upon signature and receipt of the one-time payment for the Psychiatry Legacy Collection. By purchasing the Psychiatry Legacy Collection, the Licensee has perpetual and irrevocable access rights for the contents of the Psychiatry Legacy Collection: i. The Licensee and Authorized Users shall be able to access the content that is included in the Psychiatry Legacy Collection from Authorized Sites only. ii. The contents of the Psychiatry Legacy Collection, which are noted below, constitute the complete content licensed under this Addendum and are not to be confused with the “Licensed Materials” under the Agreement: • The American Journal of Psychiatry, Volumes 1-153. Years covered: 1844-1996 Volume 1 (1844) thru 77 (1921) published as The American Journal of Insanity. • The Journal of Neuropsychiatry and Clinical Neurosciences, Volumes 1-8. Years covered: 19891996. • Psychiatric Services, Volumes 1-47. Years covered: 1950-1996 Volumes 1 (1950) through 15 (1964) published as Hospital & Community Psychiatry. The terms and conditions of the Agreement shall apply to Licensee’s access to the content in the Psychiatry Legacy Collection. To the extent the terms of this Addendum are inconsistent with those of the Agreement, this Addendum governs Licensee’s access to the Psychiatry Legacy Collection only and the use of its contents. By signing below Licensee certifies that it has read and agrees to abide by all such terms and conditions and that the signatory hereto is authorized to sign this form on behalf of the Licensee institution.
