Introduction All the PUMA, HDMI over CAT5e/6 transmitters and receivers are the perfect solution to extend HDMI signals via CAT cabling up to 40m. The PU-106 also allows you to use your existing Remote Control to control your device with the included IR Receiver & Blaster. 2. Features • v1.3 HDMI, HDCP 1.1 and DVI 1.1 compliant. • HDMI over CAT6 Extender Set. • Resolutions supported: PC - VGA to WXGA; HDTV - 480i to 1080p plus 1080p24fps. • High Denition Audio supported: Dolby TrueHD, Dolby Digital Plus and DTS-HD Master Audio plus LPCM. • Compatible with CAT-5E and CAT-6 cables. CAT-6 is recommended for better performance. • Supports CEC functions. • Supports ‘Deep Colour’ (10 & 12 bit). • Equalises and recovers incoming TMDS data before re-transmitting to ensure optimum signal quality. • Supports xvYCC • Supports 3D signals 3. Operation Controls and Functions 4.1 Front Panel POWER 5V IR POWER 5V IR HDMI OUTPUT HDMI INPUT Receiver Transmitter 1 2 3 1. HDMI input: Connect the HDMI input port to the HDMI or DVI output of your source equipment such as DVD player or set-top-box. 2. Power: Plug the 5VDC power supply into the unit and connect the adaptor to AC wall outlet. (1) power adaptor is required for both Transmitter box and receiver box, the other box can select internal power supply. 3. HDMI output: Connect the HDMI output port to the HDMI or DVI output of your displayer such as HD TV or HD monitor. DDC input/output: Connect the DDC output of 106TX to the DDC input of the receiver unit using CAT-6 cable. 2. Video input/output: Connect the video output to the video input of the receiver unit using CAT-6 cable. Note: 1. Cable tested with CAT-6E / 23AWG / Solid and therefore, cable with dierent specication may result in dierent distance. 2. Cable distance tested with equipment PS3 20G, 37” Philips 8 bit LCD TV and 37” Samsung 12 bit LCD TV. 3.
