16 Port Ethernet & PoE Extender over UTP Description The ER16500U is another component of NITEK’s cutting edge EtherStretch line. Our Etherstretch solution allows for the utilization of existing cable infrastructure (coax or UTP) to transmit data from IP cameras and other network devices along with power to operate these networked devices over the given wire media.

The ER16500U is an IP video multi-port network extenderGigabit PoE Switch. The unit operates in conjunction with from 1 to 16 ET1500U transmitter units (sold separately). The ER16500U IP Ethernet network extender-PoE inserter can quickly turn any ordinary 4 pair category network cable into a high speed network communications & PoE pathway. When operating over a 4 pair category network cable, extended distances of up to 600 meters (1,960 feet) can be achieved. The ER16500U Ethernet extender receiver along with the ET1500U transmitter (s) requires very little installation time & absolutely no set up or configuration. The system is completely transparent to the network with no IP or MAC addressing. Simply connect your network devices to the network ports of the transmitter (s) and receiver to the existing cabling and the system instantly begins communicating. LED connectivity indicators show the status of network communication and PoE service.
