The TAV 620 E was conceived as a centre speaker for home cinema systems and surround sound systems. Its large volume enables the two 18 cm bass / mid-range drivers to produce a very low, clean bass capable of operating at extremely high levels. Together with the woven dome tweeter the result is a very clear, open sound field. These qualities make the TAV 620 E absolutely ideal as speakers for digital surround systems, as they can be used as main speakers and rear speakers as well as for the centre. In the latter case the speaker should be set up as close to the television as possible (which is why its powerful magnets are comprehensively shielded), where it makes an excellent job of reproducing the human voice with clarity.
