Whether tracking equipment in a hospital, finding stock in a warehouse, tracking first responders at the scene of an emergency, finding people in an industrial facility or tracking soldiers on the battlefield, knowing the location of your resources can be the difference between success and failure, sometimes life and death. Settings The Tracking Kit can be configured for many types of environments. The user has the benefit of choosing between small, medium, and large coverage areas as well as low, medium, or high multipath environments. This allows the system to be configured for simple scenarios such as tracking in open air to more challenging scenarios where the system is tracking indoors through multiple rooms. The Tracking Kit also has a Location Mode that is designed for asset tracking. It configures the system for a large area and provides high accuracy but provides relatively slow position updates. This mode can be useful in warehouse or industrial environments where the goal is to locate stationary equipment rather than track in real time. The Tracking Kit is available in two versions: an FCC-compliant system that operates at 50 microwatts EIRP, and a dual-power version that is user-selectable between standard FCC-compliant power and an additional 10 dBm (500 microwatts EIRP). Overall, the dual-power system will afford higher accuracy over a larger coverage area.
