A Effective Date 5/10/2010 Engineering Mode Options on the 735T Treadmill Page 1/1 Revised Date 5/10/2010 Approved by Bill Baier Prepared by Kevin Oeltjenbruns PURPOSE To document the available options in the Engineering Mode on the 735T Treadmill. PROCEDURE To enter Engineering Mode, press and hold the Incline Up and Speed Down keys at the same time for 3-5 seconds. The display will beep and enter into Engineering Mode. EN90 will be displayed first once Engineering Mode is entered. Engineering Mode is broken down into 4 sections (EN90, EN91, EN92, and EN93). Use the Incline or Speed Up / Down keys to scroll between the 4 sections and press the Time/Select key to enter one of these sections. 1) EN90 is used as an LED Test. Press the Incline or Speed Up / Down keys to light different LEDs on the display. 2) EN91 is used to test the heart rate, the speed, and the incline. a. To test the HR, simply grip the hand pulse sensors located on the handlebar. The user’s HR should be displayed in the heart rate window. b. To test the speed, press the Quick Start key. The running belt will start running at the set minimum speed. The minimum speed reading will be displayed in the speed window. To change the test speed, press the Speed Up / Down or MPH keys. CAUTION: The running belt will increase / decrease speed as the setting is changed. c. To test the incline, press the Incline Up / Down keys. CAUTION: The treadmill will raise / lower incline as the setting is changed. 3) EN92 is used for auto calibration. Press the Quick Start key and auto calibration will begin. 4) En93 is used to display the accumulated distance and time. Press and hold the Stop / Hold to Reset key twice to return to normal function.
